Berry Crisp Dump Cake is a simple and delicious dessert made with just five ingredients. This easy recipe combines frozen mixed berries, cake mix, oats, walnuts, and butter to create a warm, fruity treat with a buttery, crisp topping. It’s perfect for any occasion, and serving it with vanilla ice cream makes it even more indulgent.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 bags (12-15 oz each) frozen mixed berries
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) French vanilla cake mix
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Dump the frozen mixed berries directly into the prepared baking dish. Spread them evenly across the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry cake mix, oats, walnuts, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture forms thick crumbles.
  4. Sprinkle the oat-butter mixture evenly over the berries in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the berries are bubbling.
  6. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.

Notes

  • Do not thaw the berries before adding them to the pan for the best results.
  • You can substitute the walnuts with pecans or almonds if desired.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for a quick snack.
  • Feel free to adjust the baking time based on your oven’s performance.
